OLMSTED BROTHER’S - URBAN PARK DESIGN
Please join the ICAA NORTHWEST for an Urban Landscape Design Walking Tour through the SOUTH PARK BLOCKS discussing the OLMSTED BROTHER’S influence on Portland’s public park system. The tour will cover the evolution of this area architecturally as well as how ideas proposed in Olmsted’s 1903 Report to the Park Review Board have been implemented in the greater metropolitan area over the years. The ICAA Tour will be guided and implemented by Chapter Board Member and Architect, Katie Davis, who is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture.
Informal LUNCH GATHERING after the tour will be organized for attendees.
